Hello again my lovely readers! Today’s
review is going to be about the Wholly Deep Jewel Pot by the brand Peripera
from Korea. This is a product that have been raved about by beauty youtuber Tati Westbrook
from @glamlifeguru and also our local makeup artist Nuex Rosli. Tati use them
on her daily makeup routine while Nuex uses on her brides, models and his clients.
Peripera Wholly Deep Jewel Pot is actually a cream glitter eye shadow that you
use can use it alone as an eye shadows or on top of another eyeshadows. You can
also use it as shadow base just like a MAC Paint Pots. So because of all the
raves and craziness about how great this products are, I know I had to get my
hands on these babies.
I managed to grab two of the Peripera
Wholly Deep Jewel Pot in #1 Be Illumi and #7 Be Trendy from Hermo. Now be
informed that the labelling of these products is different by country or region
only the similarity is the numbering. For example I got #1 Be Illumi but in
Korea it is labelled #1 Self Glowing Goddess while in the USA it is labelled #1
Be Illuminating. And the list goes on.

REVIEW
My first initial thoughts when I first
swatch it on my hand is that they are super glittery or glitterly as NikkiTutorials would says. They are somewhat have
that mousse kinda feeling when I touch them. Like a glitter in mousse
formulation. They are not spongey like a Colourpop shadows but more like a wet
spongey moussey formulation. You get what I mean.
#1 Be Illumi is a light gold glitter
mousse shadow with a hint of a pink. Between the two, this one has bigger
glitter flecks in it. But upon application it has minimal to no fall out. I usually
like to apply this shadow on my tear duct area to help brighten the inner
corner or on the center of the lid to give it a glow. The colour payoff is
superb, I bet you can see my lid shining from the outer space. Haha.
#7 Be Trendy is a true rose gold
glitter mousse shadow. It looks like it has a hint of a mocha colour in it but actually it swatches a true rose gold. It has fine glitter particles in it that it tends to
have fall out when applied on the lids. So usually when I intend to use it I will
start with my eye makeup first then continue with the rest of the face. By doing
this I can avoid the messy glitter fall out. The colour payoff is superb too
you just need tiny bit on each application.
Overall I am obsessed with them
both and planning to get more shades at Watsons since Hermo only carries these
two shades on their website. As an eye shadow, they both performs well on the
lid. Both eye shadows last all day and did not crease on my oily lid even when I
wear them alone without an eye primer/base. They are also a great eye shadow
topper where you can have a dark or deep eye shadow underneath and top it with this
jewel pot. I just use my fingers to apply them on the eye and they look great. Just
have to remember to screw the lid tight because just as any other cream
products in a jar, they tend to dry up if left open for long. Their price is
quite on the pricey side but I managed to buy them during a sale on the Hermo
website. It was going from RM 45.90 to RM 36 if I am not mistaken. What a deal
right?
I hope you like my review this
time. What is your newly obsessed cream shadows? Do leave a comment down below.
Till next time.
