What first comes in my mind when
someone mentions Korea is their Korean girls and their plump gradient
just-suck-a-cherry-lollipop lips. This sweet doll-like lip trend gives innocent
yet flattering look to the face. Back in the day lip tints were commonly used
to create gradient lips as it lasts longer than other regular lipstick. But ones
can also use a lipstick with good long lasting formulation to achieve this
effect on their lips.
To be honest, I like to use my
lip tints under a lipstick especially a deep or dark vampy coloured lipsticks. It’s
just a personal preference which I always do because I feel that lip tints can
help the lipstick pop and makes it look more true to its colour, erm.. you know
what I mean. Because I don’t know, my lips tends to suck the colour off a deep
dark lipstick but not the nude or vibrant ones. Hmm.. maybe I just have a vampy lips. Sigh.
Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint is my
current favourite tint which I purchased online through Hermo recently and received it within 2 days period. If you opt for a cheaper
price you can definitely check Althea only if you are willing to wait for 1 to
2 weeks of delivery. I think I’m not that patient. They have 3 different shades
01 Cherry Pink, 02 Red, and 03 Orange Cha Cha.
COLOUR
02 Red
The colour payoff is really a true
red as it is labelled. Not pink red, not orange red. It is really true red.
PACKAGING
Clear thick plastic gloss tube
with black love shaped top cap.
Doe foot applicator.
TEXTURE
A 98% water based enriched with
rosehip oil, jojoba oil and argan oil I’m surprised on how gel like texture it
has and not watery. Making it possible to spill out if laid sideways with an opened
cap.
SCENT
Sweet cheery scent.

REVIEW
I feel that it stings a bit when
first applied but it is quite hydrating. Glides smoothly and not patchy at
all. If you need a clean crisp lip line then you definitely need a lipliner but
even without a lipliner I noticed no bleeding at all. It takes a minute or two
to be completely dry once applied and lasted a good 6-7hours with light
drinking and eating. It will eventually fades if you eat greasy foods.
In short, I really like this lip
tint and I will surely stock up on this once I ran out of it. If you like a true
red lip tint then I would suggest you grab this baby fast.
