REVIEW | Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Romantic Smoked

If you love makeup but didn’t want to spend a fortune on them, then you would probably have heard of the brand Makeup Revolution, a cosmetics company from London. They are well known for their makeup products that are dupes of many high end cosmetic brands.

Today I am going to review one of their eye shadow palette; Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette in Romantic Smoked and an eye makeup I created with this palette.

REVIEW
It comes with 12 eye shadows and a double ended sponge tip applicator, which I surely know that I won’t be using it so I gave it to my toddler to play with her makeup toys, and she loves it! Eye shadows numbered 1 to 6 is a combination of shimmers and glitters, while shades numbered 7 to 12 are all mattes. All the shades are easy to apply with except shades number 1 and 12. Shade 1 is very glittery and tends to have fall out so you need to have a glitter base or glitter glue before you apply this shade. While shade number 12 I find it a bit powdery. You really need an eye primer for the mattes because they doesn’t really show on bare skin as you can see from my swatches. While the shimmers you can go with or without primers because they shows even on bare skin.

Here is a look I created with this palette. I mostly use all of the shadows inside this palette and I used a black cream eye shadow base to make the dark shade pop.

I really like this palette. The colour range is very versatile actually. A good combination of dark, neutrals and shimmer shades, you can create a romantic date look with it, a smoky look and even a natural look. This is one of those palette I believe ones can bring with them in their travel makeup bag because of how convenient and handy it is.

I hope you like my review on this palette. Do tell me what is you favorite eye shadow palette you always bring when you are out and about. Till then.

Xoxo
